So, I decided to start this blog, and then let a month go by with no updates. That is pretty typical how life has been for us Glicks lately... busy, busy. We have been enjoying this fall weather with our friends, family, and puppies. Recently, we took a trip to Hocking Hills with some good friends. We rented a house that was on a beautiful piece of land, and had the opportunity to RELAX! Chris and I were able to spend Saturday afternoon of that weekend with just the two of us. Everyone else decided to do some hiking, while we decided to fish. Being the fabulous fishermen that Chris is (and me being his "assistant"), we were able to hook 5 catfish, but only bring in 3. Yes, that means that 2 broke the line! In fact, one of those catfish is still swimming out there with a bobber attached to him (dont worry, the hooks were made to rust out over time, so he isnt stuck with it forever!).
Besides our fall trip, we have been watching the Buckeye games with one eye closed.... when does basketball start? (:
Work life has been busy as ever, which is always good considering there are people that are searching for jobs for MONTHS with no luck. Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed with work, I have to remind myself that the alternative in no good, and that I need to be thankful for the opportunities I have.
I will be posting some pictures of our catfish extravaganza soon!! And I promise, I will be posting more than once a month (:
